Burgess Cellars was founded in 1972 on the western slopes of Howell Mountain, in the emerging Napa Valley. We are family owned and operated, specializing in producing elegant and balanced Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from our estate vineyards.
A dense and concentrated cabernet with aromas and flavors of confectionary blackberry and stewed cassis. The lush fruit is brought into balance by high tone herbal aromatics of mint, sage, and sweet tobacco. The distinctively thick-skinned Cabernet grapes provide a long velvety finish.
